Commitment to accessibility
The Law Office of Israel Arama attaches the utmost importance to providing equal, respectful and accessible service to all of its clients, including people with disabilities. We act in accordance with the Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities Law, 5758-1998, and the Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities Regulations (Service Accessibility Adjustments), 5773-2013, and invest resources and effort so that every person can browse the site and receive legal service independently, safely and comfortably.
Website accessibility
This site was made accessible in accordance with Regulation 35 of the Service Accessibility Adjustments Regulations and Israeli Standard SI 5568, "Guidelines for Web Content Accessibility", which is based on the W3C WCAG 2.0 guidelines, at accessibility level AA.
The accessibility adjustments implemented on the site include, among others:
- Support for full keyboard navigation (Tab, Enter and arrow keys).
- Compatibility with common screen-reader software such as NVDA and JAWS.
- Alternative text (Alt Text) for images and graphic elements.
- A correct, hierarchical heading structure enabling quick orientation.
- Colour contrast meeting the requirements of the standard.
- The ability to enlarge text using the browser, with Ctrl together with + or −.
- A display adapted to desktop, tablet and mobile devices.
The accessibility tool on the site
A dedicated blue-and-white accessibility tool operates on the site (the accessibility button appears in the corner of the screen on every page). The tool allows display adjustments in real time, and the selected settings are saved in the browser across pages. The accessibility button, the "Reset accessibility settings" button and the "Restore display" button remain available in every display mode — so it is always possible to return to the normal display. The available and tested functions are:
- Changing text size, line spacing and text alignment
- Switching to a readable font
- Display in high contrast or in greyscale
- Hiding decorative images
- Stopping animations and motion
- Highlighting links, and a reading mask for focusing on a line
- Highlighting the focus outline, and quick navigation by the page's heading structure
- A full reset of the settings and restoration of the normal display
Reservations and limitations
We work on an ongoing basis to improve the accessibility of the site. Nevertheless, there may be elements or pages on the site that have not yet been made fully accessible, including content supplied by third parties such as videos, maps or embedded components. If you encounter any accessibility difficulty or defect, we would be glad if you would contact us, and we undertake to make every reasonable effort to correct it promptly.
Accessibility of the legal service
The Firm provides legal services nationwide. Consultation meetings take place by prior arrangement, and it is possible to arrange:
- A meeting at an accessible location according to the client's needs.
- A telephone or video consultation, with no need to attend in person.
- Further individual adjustments as required — we would be glad if you would state the need when arranging the meeting, and we will prepare accordingly.
